recover person follwing a fall to the rocks below the Kilmorie |

Flats to the East
of Meadfoot Beach. In view of the injuries, location and sea |

state Rescue
Helicopter 106 was tasked. The fall was around 70 ft. The |
|
casualty sustained
a broken neck, broken arm and two broken legs. |

18ft Speed Boat with three people and a child on board |

suffering engine
failure. Vessel subsequently reported they had pushed |
|
themselves off the
rocks. ILB took under tow however vessel was damaged and |
|
started taking
water. Two casualties transferred to the ILB whilst others bailed
|
|
the speed boat
using crew helmets. ALB tasked to assist as tow was becoming |
|
progressively more
difficult. |

found to be OK - one had returned to shore the other had |

further action.
ILB returned to station. |
