regarding a missing teenager. ILB tasked to Meadfoot but was |

A member of the
public reported directly to the station that a swimmer |

appeared to be
in difficulty hanging on to a five knot marker buoy off |
|
Breakwater
Beach. Station team checked and imitated an ILB launch. The |
|
Station Coxswain
ran to the beach and entered the water swimming |
|
approximately
200 yards to the casualty and assisted him. The ILB and Oscar IV |
|
arrived shortly
afterwards. Casualty transferred to an awaiting paramedic and |
|
ambulance
ashore.. He was suffering from exhaustion otherwise OK |
