| Our local Guilds and
Branches, like most Charities, rely on enthusiastic volunteers to raise
the funds necessary to maintain and operate our lifeboats. Whilst the RNLI
is a National Charity our sea area of Tor Bay and beyond is among the
busier in terms of 'rescue services' carried out and therefore we look to
the local population to help us maintain this service.
To put this into context
the annual revenue costs of maintaining our volunteer crew and lifeboats
for Tor Bay is close on £200,000 pa.
We are seeking
volunteers from across the Torbay Authority area and if you are willing to
assist please make contact with any one of those listed below or the
lifeboat station as above.
