Service Launched to join in an attempt to locate person believed to be in difficulty on the coast line.

Shortly after launch it was concluded this was a false alarm / hoax. ALB returned to station.

Service A member of the public reported two 'paddle boarders' in difficulty approx a quarter of a

mile off Preston beach. ALB tasked to investigate but paddle boarders had made it safely to

shore. ALB returned to station.

Location of Torre Abbey

Service Both lifeboats launched following report of a pile of clothes at Torre Abbey sands and

footprints into the sea. An extensive possible missing person search including the Coastguard

teams was initiated in the area. No one was found and the search stood down at 01:01hrs.

Additional Low tide had recently passed making close inshore search difficult.

Service The 22 ft Sea Ray 'Bubbles' suffered an electrical fire on board - ALB tasked to their

assistance. The fire resulted in the loss of power and communications. Fire brought under

control before ALB arrived on scene - vessel checked and returned under tow to Torquay.

Additional The vessel 'Jam Today' provided communications following electrical failure.

Service Preparing to launch to a speed boat running aground in rough conditions. Persons on board

successfully made it ashore and no longer at risk. Boat recovered to beach by Coastguard

Location of 2 miles East of Sharkham

Service Launched to the 48ft yacht 'Snow Wolf' with five people on board apparently taking water.

ALB escorted the yacht into Brixham Harbour whilst her crew maintained the water level with

the hand bilge pump. Yacht moored to Events Pontoon for investigation.
