Service In conjunction with ILB Shout 71 receive person with dislocated knee at Elberry

Cove and transfer her to Torquay Harbour for onward transport to Torbay

Hospital.

Service Dinghy reported to be circling in the River Dart - engine running but no one on

board. ALB tasked to investigate. Shortly after launch found to be a deliberate

act. No one at risk and boat recovered locally.

Additional Notes ALB stood down at 21:56

Location of Casualty 50 06.13N 003 10.58W

Service Launched to a 'Pleasure Fishing Boat Delora II' with eleven people on board that

suffered engine failure. She was located in mid channel some 22 nmiles SE of

Berry Head.

Returned under tow to Torquay Harbour.

Additional Notes Weather was good and the sea state moderate. The vessel drifted a further 5

miles South on the tide.

Service Launched to assist fishing vessel with engine failure and under tow until the

tow parted. Tow re-established - lifeboat escorted to Brixham Fish Quay and

assisted in berthing.

Service Launched following report of a Windsurfer in difficulty off Paignton Beach.

Rescue Helicopter 169 also in vicinity and tasked. Windsurfers gave 'Thumbs

Up' signalling all OK. 15:20 Lifeboat released to return to station.

Additional Notes Near Gale NE Winds and heavy sea running.

Service Medical evacution of an unwell seaman on the German Vessel 'Annie Hillina'.



Evacuated and taken to Haldon Pier, Torquay for onward transport to Torbay

Hospital. Left Haldon Pier 06:40hrs.

Additional Notes Uncomfortable Easterly sea running.

Service Swimmer thought to be in difficulty near the Imperial Hotel Torquay.

AWB tasked to check but swimmer made it to shore shortly after launch.

AWB released and returned to station.

Additional Notes Winds Easterly Force 6 have been blowing for almost five days - heavy sea

running.

Service The beam trawler 'Harmes Johanne' became unable to manoeuvre following loss

of propulsion. No other vessels were in her vicinity to assist. All Weather Boat

launched and returned her under tow to Brixham. She was approximately 10

Additional Notes East to South East Winds Force 6 in the area - sea building to 4 metre swell.
