at the Riviera Camp Site, Brixham reported smoke from a fishing vesel approx

Sharkham Point. Coastguards, AWB and Pilot Boat tasked. The 8.5m stern
Trawler 'Les |

Marcenaires' was
found seriously burning and the skipper had left the vessel in a life raft.
He was |
|
picked up by the
pilot boat and the AWB Paramedic transferred to check him over. He was taken
|
|
ashore to an
awaiting ambulance. AWB stood by vessel and attempted to extinguish the fire
but she |
|
continued to
burn before eventually sinking. |

vessel 'Peace and Plenty' moored within Brixham Harbour reported water above

danger of sinking. AWB pump requested to assist. AWB went to her assistance

established the
emergency pump which returned the vessel to a stable and safe condition. |

and Crew consider the vessel would have sunk within a minute of the time

to a capsized Catamaran at Torquay. People taken off by others and ILB

she found a sinking speed boat on route and diverted (ILB 61). Catamaran
taken in |
|
tow to Torquay
Harbour and Oscar 4 gave assistance to people taken off. |
