Service Both lifeboats launched to assist in search and provide support searching for a possible

suicidal person. A short while after launch the person was located by shore teams. Search

stood down and lifeboats returned to station.

Service Both lifeboats launched following reports of two youths waving for assistance and probably

cut off by the tide. Youths apparently made it to safety without assistance but detailed sweep

carried out by both lifeboats in view of the strong wind an sea conditions.

Service The 23 metre trawler 'Elizabeth N' suffered engine failure. HM Coastguard put out a call for

Service The police and HM CG requested assistance with lighting from seaward to search for a

possible missing person in the Long Quarry area of Babbacombe. Missing person located

Service Yacht 'Peanut' on passage to Dartmouth became dismasted and issued a Pan Pan. ALB was

at Torquay Harbour on a PR visit and was tasked to their assistance. 'Peanut' was able to

make way under her own power but was escorted by the ALB back to Brixham.

Service Following a report from a dive boat that someone had sustained an injury on the shoreline a

number of vessels in the vicinity went to their assistance. ALB tasked to assist recovery but

rescue helo 169 completed the task before ALB arrived on scene. ALB returned to station.

Service Vessel 'Mr Tod' with three people and a dog on board issued a May Day following serious

water ingress. ALB launched to their assistance. Water ingress successfully stopped - ALB

emergency pump put on board - vessel returned under tow to Brixham.

Additional Two or three other vessels came to their aid until the ALB was on scene.

Service Launched to evacuate an unwell officer from the Norwegian Tanker SKS Segura.. Casualty

transferred via the lifeboat to Haldon Pier, Torquay and an awaiting ambulance for Torbay

Hospital.
